with sustainability
With our plants’ technology, we at watstream make an active contribution to the United Nations’ 17 sustainable development goals. Above all, the 6th goal of the UN – ensuring the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitary facilities for everyone – is particularly important to us in view of the increasing scarcity of drinking water worldwide. With our systems we have set ourselves the goal of being able to provide any person with drinking water in a unique quality from the inexhaustible source of sea water.

efficiency
Our systems operate with 50% less energy consumption and CO2 emissions than conventional osmosis systems, consuming 2KWh/m³ of produced water instead of the usual 4KWh/m³.

avoidance of salinisation
In close cooperation with scientific institutions, we research how to avoid salinisation and promote a sustainable development of seawater resources.

reduction of pollution
With our plants we sustainably avoid plastic bottles, waste of resources due to high volume of containers, unnecessary transport and high CO2 emissions.

With our circular water solutions we promote and strengthen the regional economy and create independence and security of water supply.
